A hands-on herb journal for curious kids aged 5–10. Meet 40 friendly plants, learn what they do, and make gentle recipes together in your own kitchen.

Each herb is a hand-drawn character with its own page: what herbalists use it for, how it helps and a fun fact.
Sleepy teas, golden milk, herbal honeys and bug-bite balms. Gentle, food-style recipes made with a grown-up.
Clear “grown-up helps” and “little hands can help” signs on every recipe, plus a kitchen measures chart.
A herbalist promise to sign, a favourite-recipes list, star ratings and an Official Little Herbalist certificate.
Why teach kids about plant medicine, easy ways to start and jobs for every age from 5 to 10.
A grown-up note with each recipe covering allergies, storage and when to see a doctor.

From apple-scented chamomile to stinky-sock valerian, all 40 herbs are drawn as friendly characters kids will want to collect.

This book has been quietly coming together in the background for a while. With my background as a naturopath and herbalist, I’ve always wanted to bring that knowledge home and weave it into what I teach my own kids.
Herbal medicine is such a powerful tool. I wanted a way to share it with little ones that feels fun, hands-on and safe, so I made the book I wished I had.
Happy making, little herbalist! — Ash x
